Every time I do anything MD freezes up and offers me close or wait dialog. If I wait it usually comes around but ffs I have a killer machine, this app should be flying! What is going on here? Is there some compatibility issue I am unaware of? Is there some hidden setting that needs to be set to tell it to use my GPU, i tried changing it in the simulation properties but it did nothing. Everything else is the default settings.
Is there a way to tell this app to wait 30-60 seconds before bothering to offer me a crash option?

Is this happening on a specific file or just whenever you bring even a default garment into the scene? As most people know: GPU is not meant for being used more than only for the beginning phase of the process so if you are working in the CPU mode then you are on the correct settings. Can you share any more information on the process and project?
