Expansion in student eligibility criteria, more students to enjoy the opportunity!
We are pleased to inform you of the recent expansion in student eligibility criteria under our updated student license policy. This revision was made to enhance accessibility to the benefits of learning Marvelous Designer, thereby allowing more students to enjoy the opportunity to learn and master this valuable software at their own pace.
The revised policy provides students with an affordable pricing option and an extended duration of access, allowing ample time to explore and gain in-depth knowledge of the software. Our aim is to make it easier for students to access the benefits of Marvelous Designer, encouraging them to develop and master this valuable skill set.

License Option
- Student Yearly License: USD 99/Year (Not auto-renewal), up to 2 times within 4 years (since the first purchase)
Qualification
- University or college
- A college or university that grants degrees after completing a regular course of study of at least two years (including 2-year public or private colleges and vocational schools)
- Primary or secondary school
- A licensed public or private primary, middle, or high school that provides regular education
- Homeschool

Attendees of private CG-related courses
- Certification of courses more than 3 months or curriculum schedule and tuition receipt is required
* Students will be asked to verify the student status through either school-issued email address or relevant documents on the purchase process.
* If you have previously received a student discount, you can still benefit from the new student discount, which offers a 1-year license discount for two times. The eligibility criteria for the discount will remain the same during the checkout process.
Methods of proving student qualifications
Option 1. Use the email address issued by the school
If you enter your school email address, a verification email will be sent to that email address. Please verify your account through the verification email.
Option 2. Submit student verification documents

If you cannot verify through your school email address, you can receive a discount by submitting one of the following documents. The submitted document must indicate your name, the name of the educational institution, and the issued date. Sensitive information such as resident registration number or grades should be removed before submission. The document must have been issued within the last six months.
- Student ID card
- Enrollment certificate or academic transcript
- Proof of tuition payment or statement
[Homeschooling student]
If you are a homeschool student, you can receive a discount by submitting one of the following documents. The submitted document must indicate your name, the name of the educational institution, and the issued date. Sensitive information such as resident registration number or amount should be removed before submission.
- Copy of home school contract
- Current membership ID of home school association
- Proof of purchase of curriculum for current academy
[Private CG-focused academic institution]
If you are attending CG-related academic institutions, you can receive a discount by submitting one of the following documents. YouTube, private streaming broadcasts, and other informal online learning will not be qualified, and only official online or offline courses with existing curricula will be qualified.
- Certificate of completion issued by formal institution
- Course program schedule (at least 3 months) and tuition receipt

- Two-time purchase license (Not auto-renewed)
- When you make your first purchase, your 'student status' will be activated. The 'student status' lasts for four years, and after that, you can purchase an additional license once. You will receive two benefits over a total of four years.
- Once you have redeemed your student discount, you have the option to purchase a personal license. You can choose between monthly or yearly options for the personal license.
- Refunds are not available under any circumstances. Please make your purchase carefully.

Q. Where can I purchase a student license?
You can purchase a student license on the pricing page by clicking on "Buy Now."
Q. How do I verify my student eligibility?
By clicking on the "Get Started" button for the student license, the school email verification process will begin. An authentication email will be sent through your school email, and you can proceed with authentication through the email. If you are unable to authenticate through your school email, please proceed with authentication through "Manual Input" or "Document Submission."
Q. What payment methods are accepted?
You can make payments using credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal. The payment method is a prepayment for a one-year license.
Q. Can I cancel my student license subscription midway?
You cannot cancel your subscription midway, as it is a prepayment for a one-year license. Please choose carefully when making your purchase.
Q. Can I keep my existing subscription for the student license?
If you are currently subscribed to the previous version of the student license, you can keep your existing subscription. You can also take advantage of the benefits of the updated student license after your current subscription has expired.
Q. Can I cancel my current subscription and purchase a new student license?
If you have a current subscription, you cannot purchase a new student license before the expiration date of your current subscription. You can check the expiration date on the license page. You can purchase a new student license after the expiration date, but you will need to go through the student authentication process again.
Q. How long is the validity period for the second discounted offer after purchasing a
student license with the first discount offer?
The validity period for the second discounted offer is four years from the date of purchase of the first discounted license. Please check your student authentication validity period on the "My Account" section.
Q. If I did not use the second discounted offer within the four-year validity period of the student authentication, can I receive the student discount again for a new purchase?
If you did not use all the discounted offers within the validity period of the student authentication, you cannot receive additional discounts. Please check the validity period on the "My Account" section and make sure to purchase within the validity period.
Q. Does student license benefit also expire when the discount benefit expires?
The four-year validity period only applies at the time of purchase. If you have purchased a student license prior to the expiration date, you may still use the license even after the expiration date has passed.
For instance, if you purchase a license after applying the first discount offer on November 1, 2023, you may purchase the license with a second discounted offer until October 30, 2027, which is four years from the date of purchase of the first discounted license. Moreover, the license can be used until October 30, 2028.
Q. How can I renew my Student License?
Students are eligible to purchase a discounted license up to two times within a four-year window. Once these two terms have been completed, the student benefit concludes.
