Marvelous Designer Support

The student license policy for Marvelous Designer, a 3D design software, has been newly reorganized. 

It will change from the existing annual plan to a more flexible monthly subscription method, and can be used for up to 4 years from the date of certification. In particular, a special 3-month free benefit is provided for new subscribers until October 31, 2026, so please check the major changes.

• As long as you maintain student status, you can use Marvelous Designer for up to 4 years from the date of your initial student certification.
• The existing 'maximum 2 times' renewal limit has been abolished, so you can freely turn your subscription on and off at any time within the 4-year window (usage period).
• Note: Regardless of the number of times you previously purchased an annual license (Student annual), you can purchase a monthly subscription within the same 4-year period.
  • (Example: If you completed your initial student certification on July 1, 2026, you can receive student plan benefits until July 1, 2030.)

Introduction of affordable monthly subscription (Monthly Subscription)

• Now the student plan is unified into a monthly subscription method. (Existing Student annual licenses will no longer be sold to new customers.)
• At an affordable price of $8.25 per month, you can flexibly subscribe and cancel according to your own learning plan, such as during vacations or semester projects.

Exclusive 3-month free special benefit for new subscribers (Limited time)

• We offer a "3-month free usage benefit" to everyone who starts a monthly subscription for the first time after student certification.
• For those who have used the annual license (Student annual) in the past, the 3-month free benefit will be applied equally when starting a new monthly subscription for the first time.
• Benefit End Date: This special benefit will end completely on October 31, 2026, so we recommend starting your subscription within the benefit period.
• Payment Information: When the 3-month free period ends, $8.25 per month will be automatically billed. However, if you cancel your subscription during the free period and then re-subscribe, the benefit will not be restored and you will be charged immediately.

• If you currently have an active annual license (Student annual), you can continue to use the program as before until the remaining license expiration date.
• Even after expiration, if your student plan usage period (4 years from initial certification) remains, you can continue to use it by switching to a new monthly subscription plan.

• Q. What is the difference between Personal and Student License?
  • A: There are no differences in features or Asset Store access between the Student license and the Personal license. Both versions provide the same tools, functions, updates, and content access. The only difference is in the license usage terms:
    • Student License: For academic, learning, and non-commercial school-related work only.
    • Personal License: For personal projects, portfolio building, and commercial/freelance work.
• Q. How do I verify my student eligibility?
  • A: By clicking on the "Start Now" button for the student license, the school email verification process will begin. An authentication email will be sent through your school email, and you can proceed with authentication through the email. If you are unable to authenticate through your school email, please proceed with authentication through "Manual Input" or "Document Submission."
• Q. Can I cancel my student license subscription midway?
  • A. You can freely cancel and resubscribe within 4 years from initial certification. 
• Q. Where can I check the remaining period and end date of my student plan?
  • A: After logging in to the official website, you can check the exact end date of your student plan next to the [MyPage] - [ID TYPE] information.
• Q. I am still a student even after 4 years because I am in a 4-year university or in graduate school. Can I extend the period?
  • A: Currently, the student plan system is fixed to a 'maximum of 4 years from the date of initial certification', regardless of the degree program.
• Q. Exactly how much is the student plan monthly subscription fee?
  • A: During the first 3 months of the free benefit period (ending October 31, 2026), the payment amount is $0, and after that period ends, $8.25 will be charged every month.
• Q. What would happen after the 4 years duration terminates? Would it be automatically converted to a Personal subscription?
  • A: When 4 years from initial certification passes, your monthly Student subscription will be automatically terminated and won’t be automatically converted to a Personal Subscription.
