I feel there needs to be an accurate method for aligning vertices across stitching boundaries. For example, a vertex placed at boundary of a stitched pattern should have a visible indicator on the corresponding pattern. In much the same way as free stitching has a visible indicator. This would be useful for the correct welding of boundary vertices when exporting. As it stands I have to manually check the welding of exported clothing in a external editor. This can be very time consuming if I need to export several posed versions of the the clothing item.
You can generally use automation weight scripts in your modelling process to weld points in close proximity, thus in MD you only need to lay these points approximately nearby.
