Is there a way i can temporally unlink a garment with out totally unlinking the garment? Because sometimes i just want to add something to a garment with out effecting the linked garment,then turn link back on to continue with symmetry. Example making pants pockets, i just want to quickly unlink the back portion of the pants, so i can draw the internal line in the front.

According to your inquiry, we do not provide a temporary unlink feature.
You can unlink the pattern by clicking 'Remove linked editing' (right-click pop-up on the pattern). However, if you create internal lines in the front pattern only, the front and back pattern becomes a different pattern. In this case, you won't be able to apply the Symmetry link between your front and back pattern again.
