Hi, apologies about question,
I tried a few articles of clothing using the auto fit function, although the results are less then ideal.
In some instances it will fit onto the body correctly, but the sleeves are messed up, other times it wont work at all as shown in the attachments.
Please view the attached screenshots for images.
Help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for you time,
Jack

Hello @...,
Thank you for contacting us and sharing the screenshots!
According to the screenshots, your fitting suit on avatar looks good.
It might be the issue of your garment fitting suit data. Could you share the garment file with us to inspect your issue more via support@marvelousdesigner.com?
Thank you!
Hi Sonia,
Apologies about my late follow up, I tried numerous trouble shooting steps and found that the avatar I was using had mistakes in the bounding and arrangement volumes, hence why there was an issue with how they were fitting, I do still have a couple of questions.
When I go to use the auto fitting function I still get the "It only works for avatars registered in advance." This was resolved by first auto fitting the clothing onto a different avatar simulating it then exporting the garment. The odd thing to me is if the issue was with the garment fitting suit data why would it work on some models without the additional step (the base male model included with Marvelous Designer) but not a custom avatar with both correct fitting suit data and arrangement data (based off of the included male mode) please view screenshot for proof. How can I fix this? It adds a substantial amount of time to my workflow. Secondly, I need to export the clothing I'm creating into OBJ's and them import them into blender for final scene creation. My issues with this process is, when I export as an OBJ the baked in texture lacks detail and incomplete, where as the textures that are exported are tiled off into 20 something odd png's (view screenshot).
How can I export the texture as one image instead of the 20 odd components so I can use them in blender?
Thank you so much for your time,
Jack.

Hello @...,
Thank you for getting back to us and sharing the files!
First, according to the files you've shared with us, there was an issue with fitting suit data on "garment". In that, there was no fitting suit on that garment. It should be simulated on the avatar which has a fitting suit. Then the fitting suit data on the garment will be created. In fact, as you mentioned above, all the default avatars included in Marvelous Designer wear a fitting suit as a default. But for the custom avatars, the users have to manually create a fitting suit. Actually it has nothing to do with arrangement data.
There was no fitting suit data on the garment file called [Non working].
Secondly, it seems necessary to efficiently organize UVs in the UV Editor Window. When I checked the UV of the shared file [working], there were some overlapping patterns. In this way, accurate texturing is impossible.
I hope this helps. Should you have any other questions, please let me know! Have a lovely day :)
Hi Sonya,
Thank you so much for getting back to me and the detailed answer.
I just went through all of the steps you had mentioned above pertaining to the fit suits and garment fit suit. Listed below are the steps I used (with screenshots and notations) but in the end I still had parts of the avatar clipping though the coat (this time the avatar was the base marvelous male avatar and I tried a different coat to see if it was an isolated issue)
I'm still not entirely sure that the garment fit suit is being applied correctly, if at all, is there any way that I can edit the garment fit suit manually?
Thanks again,
Jack
