I just started MD today and I want to make ruffles, but the simulation is low poly. Is there a way to fix this? I am using the preinstalled female avatar.

For this specific question, reduce particle distance (The lowest the more detailed simulation will create, and also will demand more from your computer). A particle distance of 10 should be fine for you to see some effect.
