I have a character who needs a belt with a buckle on it. I have made just a belt which works with a cloth buckle but as the character moves it twists around the character’s torso... So I have created a OBJ buckle and threaded the buckle through. But when the character moves the buckle doesn’t so I am guessing that I have to make the buckle part of the avatar so that the buckle moves with the character and will work with collisions.
If anyone can help or point me in the right direction for a tutorial on this I would greatly appreciate this.

If you import the buckle as a trim it will move with the fabric it is attached to. another thing you could try importing it as a garment and stiffening it as hard as possible with all the presets set. Another option is to animate it beforehand with the avatar. The reason the buckle stays stationary before is because if it is imported as an avatar it will potentially need an animation to go along with the movement of your human avatar.
