Afterwards he simulates the cloth and the cut uv parts hold together as if they are sewed in MD. However in my case after simulating, the parts fall apart and i have to sew each part individually in order to have a similar outcome

Good question! I'm guessing that the object was welded before export, so there was no need for sewing the patterns together. You could try this on your object and see if it works. Auto sewing is indeed a feature, and CLO 6 has it: essentially when arranged patterns are close enough together, the app can recognise sewing lines. It doesn't always work perfectly, perhaps MD will get this feature soon.
