Normally I would expect that if you don't tick the "Use Same Material as Front" box you should be able to change the color. But it doesn't matter if the box is ticked or not. If I try to change it it changes for the whole fabric instead only the sides.
Why is this?

For further information I'm using a Macbook Pro (CPU: 2.9 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i9 / RAM: 32GB / GPU: Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB) and MD11

Alright I downloaded MD 10 and it worked there. So the problem is that MD11 just is super buggy. It's like the opposite of an update. Like a downdate where stuff gets worse than better.
