OBJ to Garment function in MD 2024.1.57 broken – Marvelous Designer

Importing Obj to Garment function crashes MD without warning. Import options box doesn't show up before crashing either. The program just disappears. Trying out different OBJs doesn't work either. Uninstalled twice and reinstalled, deleted any leftover settings and folders if I could find any didn't work either. Importing into an existing or new scene resulted in the same sudden crash.

Only fix was to revert to Marvelous Designer 2024.0.173 which was still on my laptop. Installed that version on my desktop and it fixed the issue. So there has to be something wrong with version 2024.1.57 if it kept doing that.

I'm having the same issue.

Windows 'Task Manager' just shows MD barely using any system resources and is marked as "Not Responding". Eventually the MD app crashes.
