add thickness to drawcord of hood

Hi, how can I imitate a thick drawcord tape?

    Not exactly an easy way of doing this, you can set your view to Thick Textured Surface(alt+1) but then everything will acquire thickness in your viewport. You can then adjust how thick you want it to look, via the garment property window via Add'l Thickness - Collision and Add'l Thicnkess - Rendering. If you're looking to export it with thickness but not other pieces, I suggest you save it out as a separate garment and do it with thickness settings then.
