I'm trying to design a somewhat complex 2D garment and every time I move a point the Auto Synchronize kicks in. How can I turn this off.
Thanks.

I think that was a default in previous versions, I founf myself into the same situation. Hope somebody has an answer for it.
Thats right I do remember that. I understand how it could be annoying to constantly have to synch when working on something basic, but on a complicated design, I see the auto-synch after ever point click. Slowing my development significantly for something I absolutely don't need.
In user settings you can change the default pattern mesh distance from the default 20mm to a bigger value. Double it to 40mm. Why? because when you start a garment drafting project you don't need high mesh density you need low poly count to reduce the auto-sync kicking in as you lay out cloth area, and when it syncs you want it to be fast. Later when you have finished 2D drafting window select all patterns and reduce their mesh distance to 20 mm as you shift beyond the sewing stage into the drape simulation stage.
You can also change in user settings the default auto save time, the default is 3minutes.
