metal zipper

is there a zipper with metal teeth for choice in MD?  if  not how can I make it?

    You can make an external zipper (teeth and tape) in a 3D modeling app like the free blender (very good for this task). And you can do the same for any top stitching, button or trim. In blender you can then further bake down the 3D models into textures to use as 2D textures in the standard MD tools or as object models, giving you a direct 1:1 replacement with a library item, you then use for a high quality external render.
