  You can't, except to remove it.  It is only a reference marker.  Those blue-purple lines are called base lines and they serve as a indicator of what *was* there previously.  In this case, it shows where the original edge was split to make the dart.  If you want to remove it, use the Trace tool to select it, and hit the delete key.
