I'm using MD to simulate a mylar foil bag, so it is a foil layer encapsulated in plastic. It's unsealed so not inflated looking. I want to get the puckering around the edge between the sealed and unsealed parts and the overall creased look. I have the edge and inner part as separate patterns and froze the outer. Then added a bit of positive stretch to the inner part. This feel like it is going in the right direction but it looks like fabric not foil. I also tried adding some pressure but the minimum amount of 1 is way too strong. I think I need to customise the fabric preset, I'm using Nylon Featherweight, but no idea where to start. I only need to do one side.
Make your top layer just a little bit larger.. that will add the gathering/puckering look. (Don't change the internal line it is sewn onto, on the lower layer.
