Hello,
I'm working with Iclone, Unreal and Marvelous Designer. One thing I have had a lot of trouble understanding is Time Step in MD. I wish to know more about what exactly this is and how it is interacting with my FPS export.
In Unreal, I am having mismatch problems related to FPS, but now I am suspecting it's not just FPS related. I believe Time Step might interfering with my Frame Time. From what I understand, Frame Time is more important than Frame Rate, which I was unaware of until I started digging deeper on this subject.
What exactly is Scene Time Warp doing?
I've have read forums where other users have said that they hated how MD used Time Step instead of FPS. To add to the confusion....I can export out my file at a specific FPS. Also, 1/30=0.03333333333, is the default Time Step. I'm assuming that equals 30FPS, but how does this Time Step influence my target FPS export selected?
I'm working on a thesis, and I am hoping to wrap my head around these essential concepts so that I can provide detail explanation in my written documentation.
