Objective
Join or merge two open points on Internal Lines.
※ Note: When a point on the Internal Line is open, it is hollow, whereas when a point on the Internal Line is closed, it is filled.

Operation
Join Overlapping Points
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Edit ▶ Transform Pattern / Edit Pattern
2D Toolbar ▶ Transform Pattern / Edit Pattern
- Select overlapping points and right click to access the pop-up menu. Then, select Join Overlapping Points.
→ Two overlapping points are joined and closed.
Merge to Point
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Edit ▶ Edit Pattern
2D Toolbar ▶ Edit Pattern
- Select two points on Internal Lines to be merged.
- Right click on the point which the other point should be merged to. When the pop-up menu appears, select Merge to Point.
→ The point is merged to the right-clicked point.
Merge to Average
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Edit ▶ Edit Pattern
2D Toolbar ▶ Edit Pattern
- Select two points on the Internal Lines to be merged. Then, right click on either point to access the pop-up menu and select Merge to Average.
→ The selected points are merged to their average point.
Intersect & Merge
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Edit ▶ Edit Pattern
2D Toolbar ▶ Edit Pattern
- Select two points to be merged.
- Right click on the points to access the pop-up menu and select Intersect & Merge.
→ The selected points are shortened or extended maintaining their current slope and are merged where they intersect.
