When using a texture map that has an associated normal map, could we get a way to link the scaling of one to the other? Thanks for considering this...

Never mind. Seems if both are loaded before scaling, they are linked. Just not after. My bad.
Hi Rosemary
I chime in into this older topic, but mabe you can help me: So if i understand you correctly, if you add a texture and scale that, and afterwards you load a normal map, you are able to scale that separately? Or move it independent?
I am working on a jeans. i have the texture for the seam and fitted that. Now i want my normal map to bring in the wrinkles on the seam (shirring). Now my question is, how i can move and scale just the normal map without touching the jeans texture itself, because they are completely independent, but need to be on the same fabric.
Thanks for your help
Kind Regards Beat
As I understand it, both maps need to be scaled/adjusted together. But I am no texturing guru. You may have to consult someone else.
