GPU Simulation doesn't work

I'm following through a tutorial on creating clothing items in Marvelous Designer. When I tried to use GPU Simulation the panels don't get stitched together. Instead they just drop to the floor in a pile. If I use Ctrl+Z to undo the simulation and switch back to Normal simulation then it works as expected.

I am Marvelous Designer 9.5 (Personal 5.1.431).

    No, I have not

    Nor have I heard anything from the Marvelous Designer folks

    If I do the normal simulation to stitch the items together then I can switch to GPU after the fact.
