Marvelous Designer Support

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to create an American flag that is similar looking to this one

I would like to achieve the same look of having thick stars and creases/piping inbetween the stripes but I'm having difficulty recreating this. The stars seem to float above the base mesh and the creases between the stripes don't look as if they are individual pieces sewn together.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
