I'm guessing this isn't possible, but I just want to check... Can you switch the axis view for the 2D grid? I'd like to be able to change it so I can see underneath my character so I can better go around its feet whilst making the sole of the shoe/boot.
Thanks
No-but you can change how the avatar swizzle creates the 2D silhouette. Change the orientation of the avatar in the3d window so the feet are in the screen(2 D) orientation.
Use the gizmo tool to select the avatar and then hold the shift key to snap to 0-90 increments as you rotate.
In the2D window the silhouette will now be facing the screen/ paperspace and you can trace the shape by setting the camera clipping plane to exclude the rest of the avatar silhouette body shape, eg: from the ankles to sole of the foot.
Cool, thanks for the heads-up. Only thing I'm unsure about is the camera clipping plane...? How do you do that exactly?
EDIT: Okay, I've tried playing with the camera, but I can't seem to get the rest of the body hidden by the clipping plane so I can just see the feet. I've rotated the model so it's on its back and I can see the soles of the feet. But the rest of the silhouette is obscuring the bottom of the feet.
Thanks
