MD10 Morph Target Adds to Exiting Avatar

Hi 

I've just upgraded to MD10, and when I try to import an avatar as a morph target, it appends to the existing avatar, so I end up with a mashup of the start avatar and the morph target. 

Is this a bug, or is there something new I need to do in MD10?
