Hi there,
I'm new to MD and working on trying to get the cloth to react to a holster strap on the leg.
I've attached the image to show you what I'm, trying to do.
Which would be the best method to go about this?
Cheers,
Cameron

If you have a custom 'object' model you need to simulate under I would create a 'proxy' cloth pattern which is a relatively simple task if you use the inner surface of you model and the trace UV/Pattern model tool and unfold the pattern piece. I do this all the time on complex leather or molded harnesses. Take about 3 clicks to do. Then I use that pattern piece (in situ) to force a simulation down onto the cloth underneath. Which will then mean you get an extremely tight and accurate simulation. Then I simply import the model again as avatar #2 and delete the cloth proxy and you are finished and it will be perfectly simulated.
