Hello, I have a few requests for future versions of Marvelous. It's a good tool, but I feel it needs some improvements in a few areas:
1. Nudge UVs in the UV editor. The arrow keys move to new UDIMS vs. nudge. it would be nice to have a modifier on the arrow keys to nudge UVs a pixel or so at a time.
2. Make it possible to paint NO COLLISION areas on the avatars. My fingers and underarms keep getting snagged but if I remove them by cutting the avatar geometry the tacks no longer work because the point count changes. IF you can already do this I would love a link to a tutorial.
3. Do not reset UVs on panels that have internal cuts made. I have added pockets then my panels move in the UV editor.
4. Mirroring tools in the Avatar Editor. I want to be able to set the left or right side then mirror my choices without copy and pasting each and every value. Or allow creation/editing of bounding volumes to be done in Maya/Blender/etc.
5. Browse Fabric by name restored. Browsing by little icons is not useful.
6. Most importantly. Please add some rigid dynamics simulation capability with simple capsules, spheres, cubes connected with springs. If I have a heavy chain necklace, right now I have to go to another program (maya with ragdoll dynamics or Houdini) to simulate rigids with the cloth.
