hello everyone :) I'm newbie in MD, just started it and I'm following a tutorial to make a backpack
so everything is Okay but here I had to bring a buckle to attach the fabric and fold it on it
but I'm having an issue since over 2 hours now with this :( I've folded it and when simulating it it crumbles upon itself and does not stick well to the buckle at all.
Here's what I tried
-Different simulations mode (CPU GPU and fabric fitting)
-adjusting the thickness of collision of fabric, adjusting skin offset of the buckle
- using helpers such creating blocking fabric to hold the one I'm folding around the buckle but either at the end I have to attach it to something else and it crumbles again
-my distance particle is 1 , I remeshed the fabric plane I'm using.
- I made it very far from the bag (thinking that even with frozen object, there might be interference
- I also used "hands" or pins to move it on my way but it keeps crumbling again, very strange
after all this and a lot of simulation trials I gave up, I was wondering if the problem is from the avatar I bring ,because it's the first time the friction work so bad.
