Hello! A newbie question. I realised that my collars have problems in simulation. They all stand up. But no one solution didn't help (softer material, fold arragement, with internal lines and without them, 5 mm particle distance). What could you recommend to make a sharp edge along this red line and lay the collar down?
You can see that the collar wants to make it's own fold, higher than the internal line you set in. Part of that is due to the size and shape of the collar pattern itself, as well as the fit of the rest of the garment on the avatar. Getting the shape absolutely 'right' would take a bit more real-world tailoring expertise. I would simply recommend that you just move the red line to coincide with where the self-fold occurs, and extend the pattern outer edges such that downward portion (the 'fall') of the collar is the size you want. As for the internal line not folding or showing any sign of folding, did you change the fold angle at all? Default is 180, which means the cloth at the line will lie flat. You have to change it to nearly 0 to have it fold at all, in the direction you want.
