You can use the folded shirt in the garment modulator to mix and match your custom patterns into a folded presentation. See how they lay out the construction and pattern pieces to make an item. You can add to these modulator elements to make your folded shirt more customized to your specific taste by using the modulator workspace (top right workspace tab) and generating new pattern items with icons and they will then appear in the modulator library of elements for you to mix and match with.
You can customise (redraft) a copy and renamed existing element, or generate your own patterns within the block and Modulator workspace. However you cannot add new sewing block templates as these are custom built for the software. And you don't get authorship rights to add to these, so you need to work within these sewing block templates on the pattern pieces, which you can edit to a new design or shape.
There is some limitation on these. However the other option is to simply use a folded shirt as a start point and then save it as a project, break the modulator template block relationships and sewing (this can be done) and manually make pattern edits and re-sew the assembly like a typical garment, but already in the pre-simulated folded position.
Hope that helps.

Thank you! I will check this out, very helpful.
The only way to do it efficiently is to break down the shirt model into this type of sliced and diced layout you can arrange using arrangement points (very quick to set up) so your simulation time is dramatically lowered - a few minutes. You can create your own design options in the patterns, So you can take an existing shirt you may have designed and apply those cut lines as internal lines in a new pattern derivative layout in the folded shirt template and add it to the blocks, you can then add in trim or accessory options to the styling detail and create a mixed element configurator. Most shirt building is like this inhouse for production anyway so that is just a matter of going through your style variants for presentation.
Wonderful, thank you!
