simulations slow, program runs slow on new apple mac pro 14" – Marvelous Designer

hi,

i have a brand new macbook pro with the below specs:

Apple M1 Pro chip

10-core CPU with 8 performance cores
and 2 efficiency cores

16-core GPU

16-core Neural Engine

200GB/s memory bandwidth

Media engine

Hardware-accelerated H.264, HEVC, ProRes, and ProRes RAW

Video decode engine

Video encode engine

ProRes encode and decode engine

Liquid Retina XDR display

14.2-inch (diagonal) Liquid Retina XDR display;¹ 3024-by-1964 native
resolution at 254 pixels per inch

16GB

16GB unified memory

marvellous designer works but very slowly.

is there anything that can be done to fix it?

is there a software update coming to help, when will this be?
