Hi guys,
I have an issue exporting an animation from MD to C4D.
When I play in MD everything is ok as you can see:

But when I import into c4D clothes simulation and avatar anim are synched properly but after a couple of seconds avatar is pocking thru the garnement.

The animation is quite long ( 400 frames).
Frame rate is the same 25fps.
In MD I have decreased Avatar Skin offset to 1mm but still have the same problem.
Garnement Fabric is default.
I play animation in Real time, Custom.
Then Export in Alembic OGAWA, Weld, Thin.
Normaly, when I use this settings I dfon't have any pocking thru problems in C4D.
Do you have an idea whats wrong ?
Thanks a lot !!
Hi R,
Have you tried importing your garment Alembic Ogawa file in C4D using File > Merge Project?
One of our user LUNCHBOX have had issues with importing Alembic file and found this as a solution. You can see the post here: Link.
Let me know if this works for you.
Best regards,

Hi guys,
Thanks for your response.
My workflow between C4D and MD was the same than LUNCHBOX ( export in Alembic OGAWA and merge in C4D) but I still couldn't figure but out how to solve that pocking thru issue.
Finally, I've changed for another and slower animation and it works well.
Thanks for your time :)
