Cinema 4D won't open any Alembic exported from MD11

Hi, new to MD but this is clearly an issue.

I've attempted to export multiple different types of Alembic with different settings and none of the files will open in C4D R25. Never had any opening problems Alembic files before.
I'm on Windows 10 @ 2.30GHz , 32 gig ram, RTX 2080
Can you explain the bug? I've seen a lot of similar compliants and no solution.
