My character is an .fbx import with animation. I am trying to add a prop to the scene, but I’m having problems.
If I import the prop as an .obj, it comes in with no collision. Cloth falls right through it.
If I import the prop (add) as an .fbx, it has collision, but it replaces the character entirely.
If I import the prop as an .obj avatar (which imports with collision), it also automatically replaces the character.
I need both character and object in the scene because the fabric in my animation interacts with both of them. How can I either import an .obj avatar and .fbx animation into the same scene or import two separate .fbx files?
Thanks!
Hi Conway Melissa,
Thank you for contacting us.
If you need to add a prop into the scene and have collision, please add it as .obj and make sure the Load Type is set to Add, and Object Type set to Avatar. Please see the attached image bellow for setting. If you add an .obj as Scenes Props, the mesh is added to the scene but it does not have collision, please set it to Avatar instead.
