Smooth Avatar Saving and Performance

    Hi Philipp,

    We apologize for the inconvenience.  This is a bug and I have created a bug report on this issue.  We will address this in the future patch updates.

     

    However, the smooth avatar function will subdivide the avatar.  It is set to uncheck by default.  You would only use it if your character mesh is not dense enough for simulation.  For example, if your character is low poly and the garment intersect with the avatar because of it, you would need to subdivide the mesh.  If it works well enough you wouldn't need to smooth your avatar when it is first imported.
