GoZ allows direct import/ export of Object between ZBrush and Marvelous Designer.
Need to install GoZ installer for GoZ Marvelous Designer Plug-in in ZBrush.
GoZ Install for Mac
Download GoZ installer and Unzip to GoZApps folder
To Activate GoZ function, need to installer GoZ Marvelous Designer Plug-in installer from ZBrush.
Download installer above, move the installer to GoZApps and unzip.
Default Path: /Users/Shared/Pixologic/GoZApps
Folder Named MarvelousDesigner will be unzipped.
To install GoZ Marvelous Designer, ZBrush need to be installed first.
Install GoZ Marvelous Designer from ZBrush
After unzip Marvelous Designer folder to GoZApps folder, run ZBrush.
ZBrush Main menu > Preferences > GoZ > click Force reinstall.
List will be displayed, Click Marvelous Designer from the list.
Click 'Install' Button to start install.
Once installation is completed, Marvelous Designer will be launched, can find GoZ menu on the Marvelous Designer main menu.
Setting Marvelous Designer Path in ZBrush
ZBrush Main menu > Preferences > GoZ > Click Update all paths
Browse for desired path of Marvelous Designer and select.
Run GoZ from Marvelous Designer
After installing GoZ Marvelous Designer, can directly export Garment, Avatar and Trims from Marvelous Designer by Run GoZ menu.
Location
Marvelous Designer → Main Menu → GoZ → Run GoZ
Operation
- Create or load Garment either Avatar to export by GoZ
- Select the tool according to the Location above.
- Garment/ Avatar will be added to ZBrush's Subtool according to GoZ export setting.
- Once the object is exported by GoZ, can edit and update by Run GoZ button.
Run GoZ from ZBrush
After installing GoZ, can directly export object to Marvelous Designer from ZBrush.

Operation
- Create an Object from ZBrush.
- Select the tool according to the Location above.
- Garment/ Avatar will be exported to Marvelous Designer according to Marvelous Designer's
- GoZ import setting.
- Once the object is exported by GoZ, can edit and update by GoZ button.

Thin Ensures that the thickness will not be exported even if the rendering thickness value is increased beforehand. |
Thick Exports a pattern with its rendering thickness values in its increased state. |

Include Avatar Shape: Save the Avatar as part of the file. | ||
Scale | Adjusts the scale of the file being exported when a value is entered. |
*Reset: Reset all GoZ settings to Default.
