Is there a way to export Alembics with the names of the patterns as primitive data or in a hierarchy that matches the scene browser?
Right now the alembic sim export of an alembic comes in as a single shape node named cloth_parent. I want to break that up into the constituent patterns based on name so I can use the pieces to deform other objects in Houdini. I would like to be able to reliably expect the patch names to be the same every time I export.
I would like the pattern piece names in the scene browser to be exported with the piece.
Give them a custom name, with a unique base fabric color ID (eg: a new fabric is classed as a new material).
