Trace Pattern does not work correctly in MD 9.5

Hello,

Using the Trace Pattern feature behaves differently in MD 9.5 compared to MD8. MD8 traces the patterns correctly, MD9 fails at detecting the patterns. 

Base Geometry & UV`s:

Imported into 8.5 using Trace Pattern:

Imported into 9.5 using Trace Pattern:

As you can see, MD 9.5 does not trace the pattern as expected. It becomes even more obvious when using more complex geometry / uvs.

I`ve tried several steps to fix the issue:
Triangulating Geometry before import 
Using More Dense Geo
Trying Different Scale Settings

Any help with this issue would be appreciated. I`m using the Steam version of MD 9.5

    Try recalculating normals before you export the object from blender. If you also use the 3D print addon in BL you can check faces and any doubles on your mesh model before you export.
