Dear Dev.Team,
As a MD user doing simulation with more then 300 frames it's very important that I can tweak my simulation on frames with little issues or intersections to have the best result. By going back and forth between the animation and the simulation view I'm able to do this very easily.
Unfortunately there are some situation where the pattern settings needs to be changed to solve the knot of intersecting faces (e.g. resolution or strength).
By doing so the entire progress of the simulation is gone. The "Garment" track in the animation editor is automatically killed.
By undoing the steps the simulated garment track is not appearing back, with the consequence that the entire simulation needs to be processed again. And not only that: the garment (since it lost his entire simulation) is now in the pose of the frame I was tweaking, with no possibility to go back to the "A" or "T" pose.
- It would be great if by re-editing the garment in the simulation view, at least the simulation progress till the tweaked frame would not be lost.
- It would be really helpful as well, if a warning could inform the user that the cached simulation will be deleted if she/he will proceed with the editing of the garment parameters.
- It would be a great improvement if there would be the possibility to simulate backwards
