Hello Marvelous Team,
We are using Marvelous since a long time in game cinematics, but we are facing really annoying problem. We want to use animated alembics as avatars so we import our mesh in abc format. But, even if the mesh is in several parts, we can't disable or delete a part inside marvelous (it delete everything). Sometimes we need to hide some part to do the sim.
So our workaround is to use the Import Add > obj combined with a PC2 cache. Its the only way to have multiple animated avatars. The downside it that those meshes aren't well named inside marvelous (Obj_import_shape) so its hard to load the cache because all the meshes have the same name.
Its really time consuming.when you need to process several shots.
The best way for us is to be able to load multiples animated abc as avatar (at the moment when you load multiple abc avatar it delete the previous one) or the preferred way is having only one animated abc with the possibility to hide/disabled parts of it inside marvelous.
Thanks for your amazing software and hope you'll find my feedback usefull
