I've created a coffee bag in MD and the edges of each panel are sewn together. The seam then is getting an inflated look that I would think is because one of the seams has the wrong angle. However the outer seam I think is supposed to be turned, which it is. But I can change it to a custom angle. The inner seam is set to turned but it cannot be changed, if I select custom angle in the drop down it reverts to turned. I'm pretty sure this is wrong and that I need to be able to change that seam.
Use the pleat knife edge tool on all outside bag sewing edges and make sure the outer fold sewn edges are reset to '0' strength and not the default setting > this triggers the algorithm to create a tight zero angle edge fold (eg: knife pleat).
Thanks for the tip. The pleat tool seemed to do something strange but turning the outer edge to zero instead off turned helped. Then I realised I still had extra collision of 1mm on the parts... I think this was the biggest problem. I set that to zero and now it looks correct. It's been a while since I used MD and I think I forgot what I did last time for a similar bag.
