2d avatar sideways view

when I load my avatar in MD it looks great in the 3d but it is sideways in the 2d. How can I fix this plz?

    Export your asset with the correct axis direction is the best solution; but you can rotate upon import (see image below), just remember to accommodate that action later on in your pipeline.
