How to deselect (?) pattern piece so it all shows the right cloth and color?

Quick question, how do I make the yellow part of the skirt below show the assigned color/fabric please?

    The orange/yellow panel has 'strengthen' turned on. you can turn strengthen off temporarily to see the fabric color.
