Hi,
I am trying to export some garments as an obj for a character I have designed in character creator 4.
My garments were exporting extremely low-res and with other problems. I fixed the other problems by playing around with the UV editor, but I have not fixed the low resolution.
The garment looks great in MD
Here is what it looks like if I put all the garments in one uv square.
UV
The garment over in CC4
Now I also tried spreading the garment pieces throughout several UV boxes
And I end up with this. It's a mess obviously, but I also notice the resolution on the garments is far better. However, it is still greatly inferior to what I get inside MD!
I just want to be able to export the garments with the same quality I get inside MD. I know I must be doing something wrong with the UV editor, but I have spent hours searching and searching for a good tutorial that could explain what I need to do, and I have found nothing. I've watched pretty much every video I could find on exporting to Character Creator and the UV editor, plus tried to find any written tutorials, but nothing seems to cover my issue.
