Objective
Add and edit curve points on Pattern outlines and Internal Lines.

Operation
Add
- Select the tool/menu indicated in Location
Click the desired position of a segment to add a curve point.
Or, Right click on a segment to split the segment by a curve point (ver 7.1)
Split into Two Lines Adjust by entering the length of both lines which are divided by the right clicked point, or by entering the ratio. Split by Length Enter the number of segments the selected line should be divided into. You can change the direction in which a point is added to a start/opposite/center basis. Uniform Split Enter the number of segments the line should be divided into. The line is equally divided accordingly. → A free curve point is created at the selected point.
→ When a free curve point is added to an Bezier curve, the curvarture is changed based on the free curve point.
Move
Click and drag a curve point or press the arrow key on the keyboard to move.
To enter Moved Distance, right click while click-and-dragging the Curve Point
Distance Moved Type in the how much a segment or a point is moved. X/ Y Axis Type in how much a point is moved on X/ Y-axis.
This option does not appear for segments.
※ Note:
- Moving multiple curve points at once is possible starting ver4.2.0 (ver4.2.0).
The Transform pattern tool's selection box can now select patterns no matter the area it covers; by holding CTRL and clicking and dragging your mouse. (ver. 2024.0)
- The Free Curve Point can be freely added and edited. The Free Curve Point can also be created by holding down the Ctrl key on the keyboard while drafting a Pattern with the Polygon tool.
- When a Free Curve Point is added to an AI Bezier curve, its AI Bezier curve handles disappear and the curve is reshaped based on the added Free Curve Point.
