Objective

Create and use Zippers quickly and easily.

Location

Main Menu ▶ Materials ▶ Zipper ▶ Zipper

3D Toolbar ▶ Zipper

Operation

1. Navigate to the location listed below:

   3D Toolbar ▶ Zipper

2. Click on the 3D garment or 2D Patterns (ver MD10) where the Zipper should be attached, then move the cursor.
   → Based on the direction the cursor is moved, the segment where the Zipper appears is highlighted in light blue.
    
3. Double click on the desired endpoint for the Zipper.
   → One side of the Zipper is created.
    
4. Click on the Pattern outline where the other side of the Zipper is attached, then move the cursor.
   → Based on the direction the cursor is moved, a blue point appears indicating the same length as the first half of the Zipper which was created in step 3.
    
5. Double click on the blue point.
   → The Zipper is now complete, along with a Puller, Slider, and Stopper (ver MD10).
    
6. Activate the Simulation.
   → The Zipper simulates in a closed/fully zipped state.
   → To unzip the Zipper, click on the Zipper in the 3D Window WITHOUT the Gizmo active, and drag to move the Zipper (referenced in dark grey) along the length of the Zipper Tape.

※ Note:

Cancel Actions during Zipper Creation

• Cancel All Actions
  While using the Zipper tool, press 'Esc' or 'Ctlr +Z' on the keyboard, and all actions will be undone.
   
• Cancel Last Action
  While using the Zipper tool, press the 'Delete' or 'Backspace' Key on the keyboard and the last action will be undone.
