Objective
Change the range, unit, and appearance of Garment Fit Maps.

Operation

Check the following before using Garment Fitting Maps:
- Fabric: Apply the fabric type that is appropriate for the design.
- Avatar: Use an avatar in the right size. Adjust an avatar size according to your measurement chart or fitting model in the Avatar Editor. Main Menu > Avatar > Avatar Editor > Avatar Size
- Pose: Choose an avatar’s pose according to your style. Library > Avatar > choose the correct avatar version > Pose
- Simulation: Change the Simulation Mode to Fitting (Accurate Fabric) or Animation (Stable)

Simulate every time after you change a design / fabric.

Open the Garment Fit Properties window from the Location above and modify its properties:
Fit Properties:
Properties Description Stress Range Color Count Select 8 or 4 for the range count. Range kPa Displays the force along the fabric grain per unit area in kPa of the fabric that causes garment deformation. gf/cm2 Displays the force along the fabric grain per unit area in gf/cm2 of the fabric that causes garment deformation. mmHg Displays the force along the fabric grain per unit area in mmHg of the fabric that causes garment deformation. Color Individually customize the color of the maps. Opacity Individually adjust the opacity of the color. Graph Type Gradation The colors will be applied through gradation. Section The colors will be applied through sections. Mesh The color map will be applied on the lines of the mesh. Face The color map will be applied on the face of the garment. Point The color map will be applied on the points of the mesh. Show Select or deselect Weft / Warp / Shear to be included in the fit properties. Strain Range Color Count Select 8 or 4 for the range count. Range % (percent) The strain map is calculated through percentage. Color Individually customize the color of the maps. Opacity Individually adjust the opacity of the color. Graph Type Gradation The colors will be applied through gradation. Section The colors will be applied through sections. Mesh The color map will be applied on the lines of the mesh. Face The color map will be applied on the face of the garment. Point The color map will be applied on the points of the mesh. Show Select or deselect Weft / Warp / Shear to be included in the fit properties. Pressure Range Color Count Select 8 or 4 for the range count. Range kPa Displays the force per unit area in kPa applied to a garment by external stress. Represents the internal stress and tension in the fabric itself when stretched. gf/cm2 Displays the force per unit area in gf/cm2 applied to a garment by external stress. Measures the actual pressure exerted by the garment on the body surface. mmHg Displays the force per unit area in mmHg applied to a garment by external stress. Measures the compression pressure applied by the garment to the body. Color Individually customize the color of the maps. Opacity Individually adjust the opacity of the color. Graph Type Gradation The colors will be applied through gradation. Section The colors will be applied through sections. Mesh The color map will be applied on the lines of the mesh. Face The color map will be applied on the face of the garment. Point The color map will be applied on the points of the mesh.
※Notes:
- Only one map can be activated at a time
- When clicking on a point of a garment in the 3D window, the measurement appears.
- Try to raise the percentage value for very stretchy fabrics and to lower percentage value for non-stretch / low-stretch fabrics to get more accurate results. It applies to all three Garment Fit Maps.

Blue (100%) shows areas where fabric is not stretched, while red shows the most stretched areas. Red areas in the Strain Map are not necessarily a critical issue, but they have to be investigated
further by using the Stress Map. - Try different poses such as standing, sitting, or running for checking the fit of the garment.
