Topstitch Style Property Editor
Objective
Use these options to edit Topstitch styles and materials.
Location
Main Menu ▶ Window ▶ Object Browser ▶ (Select) Topstitch Style ▶ Property editor
Operation
Object Browser ▶ Select a topstitch item in the Topstitch Tab.
→ The properties are displayed in the Property Editor.

| Information | Name | Enter a name for the Topstitch. | ||
| Type | Select either OBJ to create a 3D mesh, or Texture to apply the effect as a material. | |||
| Offset | Select the Offset distance from the dropdown menu in inches, or enter a value in millimeters in the input box. | |||

Stitch Count
|
Select between 1 and 5 stitches. For multiple stitches, you can apply unique material properties to each one. Enable Use Same Specification to apply identical settings, or Use Same Material to use the same material settings across all stitches. |

|
Select the type of topstitch from the drop-down icon. Click the plus + icon to register the topstitch as an OBJ file (link here). Click the CONNECT icon to open the CONNECT Store and download buttons. |

Set the Length (SPI), Space, and Thread Thickness of the Topstitch. For example, 'SPI-4' means there are four individual stitches within an inch. For standard garments, SPI-11 is often used.

Material

Type | Set the appropriate fabric type for the topstitch. | |||
| Base Color | Color | Select the color of the base color. | |||
| Base Color Map | Base Color Map | Click the explore button and apply a texture image from the Library/Folder. | |||
| Desaturate | Desaturate the entire Base Color Map to remove color and convert it into grayscale or black and white. | ||||
| Switch |
Color Switch: Easily and quickly switch the color of the texture to a new one without losing the accuracy of the chosen color. ※Note: For consistent results, the Base Color Map should contain 1 color. If the Base Color Map contains multiple colors, users may experience unexpected results. |

| Normal Map | Click the explore button and apply a texture image from the Library/Folder. Generate with the PBR texture generator icon. | ||||
| Intensity | Adjust the intensity of the Normal map from -100 to 100. | ||||

Displacement Map
|
Click the explore button and apply a texture image from Library/Folder, generated with the PBR texture generator icon. | ||||
Amount |
Adjust the maximum height of the displacement map. The white area of the displacement map shows the maximum height. | ||||
Shift |
Adjust the distance between the displacement map and the garment surface | ||||
Clipping |
Adjust to delete all geometries below the Clipping value. | ||||
Particle Distance |
Adjust the Particle Distance of newly created meshes. | ||||
Keep Continuity |
Extend the adjacent face to eliminate the boundary line. ※ Note: Only applicable to Welded OBJs. |

Opacity |
Adjust the opacity level from 0 to 100. |

| Opacity Map | RGB Mode | The encoded map with alpha value in the RGB channel. | |||
| Alpha Mode | The encoded map with the alpha value in the alpha channel. | ||||

Reflection
|
Roughness | Intensity | Edit fabric gloss by adjusting the Intensity of the Roughness | ||
| Map | Edit fabric gloss by adding and modifying the Roughness Map. | ||||

Map
|
Select the Browse button next to the Map option to add a Roughness Map to the selected Fabric style. | ||||
| Map Intensity | Adjust the Map's Intensity. | ||||
| Invert | Select to invert the gloss of the fabric. When this option is selected, the shiny part becomes dull and vice versa. | ||||
| Reflection Intensity | The greater/lesser the Reflection Intensity value is, the more reflective/dull the material or fabric is, and vice versa. | ||||
| Metalness | Adjust the metallic level. A higher value makes the surface more metallic. | ||||
| Metalness Map | Partially express metallics using a grayscale image. The white parts of the map appear metallic. | ||||

Select the Face of Topstitch. |

Number of Lines
|
Set how many lines of Topstitches there are for a single style. | ||||
| Distance | It is possible to adjust the distance between the lines. The unit of length can be set in inches, millimeters (mm), or centimeters (cm). | ||||
3D |
The Topstitch is more realistic in the 3D window. | ||||
Topstitch Property Editor
Objective
Use these options to edit topstitch styles:
- Extend: When the start or end point of a Topstitch does not reach or stick out of the Pattern outline, extend it to fit to the outline of the Pattern.
- Corner: Set the Topstitch corner type to extend the stitch more smoothly at corners.

2D Toolbar ▶ Edit Topstitch
Operation
Find the menu from the location above, and select a topstitch line in the 2D pattern window.
→ Topstitch properties appear on the Property Editor.

When turned On, the selected Topstitch is now curved and smoothly extended. ※ Note: Corner settings only apply when connecting with Free Topstitch Sewing. |
| Right Angled | When turned On, the selected Topstitch is now a right angle. | |

Z Offset (mm) |
Enter a value in millimeters to set the offset from the pattern surface. | |
Topstitch Context Menu
Objective
Use these options to manage topstitch, including deleting and renaming.
Location
Main Menu ▶ Window ▶ Object Browser ▶ Topstitch
Operation
Right-click a button in the location panel to rearrange the topstitch list.
| Menu | Description | |
| Delete |
Deletes the selected Topstitch style. ※Note: You can also delete them with the Delete Topstitch on the keyboard. A Topstitch Style can only be deleted if there is no Topstitch assigned to it. |

| Delete All Unused Topstitches | Removes unused Topstitches from the Topstitch list. | |
| Rename | Rename the Topstitch style. | |
| Reset | Resets the properties of the Topstitch style to the Default Topstitch properties. | |
