Objective
Save Patterns in the 2D Pattern Window in 1:1 ratio as images.
Location
Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Snapshot ▶ 2D Patterns(1:1).
Operation
Apply 2D Snapshot
- The 2D window expands and the 2D Snapshot window appears with the following options:
Size
| Preset |
Select one among provided size Presets: A4, A3, B5, B4, Letter, Legal, Tabloid, Wide Format (24 inches), Wide Format (36 Inches), Wide Format (36 Inches), Wide Format (44 Inches), Custom |
| Orientation |
Decide orientation of the image. Portrait or Landscape |
| Width | Type in desired Width for the image. |
| Height | Type in desired Height for the image. |
| Unit |
Set the above Width and Height Units of measurement: Pixels, Inches, Millimeters, Centimeters |
| Resolution (ppi) | Assign Resolution for the image. |

Pixels
|
Generates the pixel dimensions based on the input properties above (You cannot affect the numbers in this window). |
Options
Show Lines
| Select All | Select all line types to be included in the exported image. | |
| Graphic Lines | Include the box that surrounds the graphic. | |
| Internal Lines | Include red internal lines in image. | |
| Pattern Outlines | Include the Black Pattern outline. | |
| Symmetric/ Instance Lines | Include the connecting line for instance or symmetric connector lines. | |
Show Images
| Select All | Select which images will be included in the exported image. | |
| Fabric Texture | Include the applied Fabric texture. | |
| Graphic | Include any applied Graphic styles. | |
Additional Information
| Select All | Select additional information included in the exported image. | |
| Pattern name | Include the Pattern name set in the Pattern Property Editor. | |
| Line Lengths | Include the Line Lengths in the image. | |
| Grainline | Include the Grainline in the image. | |
| Seam Taping/ Bond/Skive | include the view options for Seam Taping, Bonding & Skive to be included in the image. | |
| Button/ Buttonholes | Include buttonholes that are in the scene. | |
| 2D measurements | Include the 2D measurements within the pattern piece (Manual link). | |
You can then choose to reset the options Save with the selected options or cancel the operation.
Save 2D Snapshot
- Configure all options above.
- Click Save.
- Select the Save as Type as .JPEG or PNG.
