3-Version Back Policy
- If a version of your perpetual license is 3 versions behind from the latest version at the moment, you are eligible for a 'Version Upgrade' or 'Trade-In'
Personal License
- Version Upgrade:
Version Upgrade for existing perpetual license will be available up to Marvelous Designer 12.
- Trade-In:
A trade-in purchase option will remain until December 31, 2024.
You can trade in your Personal Perpetual License for a 1-year subscription. After that, the perpetual license will be retrieved and cannot be reused.
Also within the period of subscription, users will be guaranteed to have full access to the latest version.
(The eligibility and the price for Version Upgrade and License Trade-In are the same)
Enterprise License
- Version Upgrade:
Version Upgrade for existing perpetual license will be available up to Marvelous Designer 12.
- Trade-In:
A trade-in purchase option will remain until December 31, 2024.
You can trade in your Enterprise Perpetual License for a 2-year subscription. After that, the perpetual license will be retrieved and cannot be reused.
Also within the period of subscription, users will be guaranteed to have full access to the latest version.

Enterprise Standalone Perpetual X 1 > Enterprise Standalone 2-year subscription X 1
Enterprise Network Perpetual X 1 > Enterprise Network 2-year subscription X 1

(Ref) Purchase scenario for perpetual license holders - 9,10,11,12 holders (following 2 years)
* If your own version is 8, version 11 will be the last version you can get the benefit of a 3 version back update/trade-in policy. If you wish to continue this benefit, you're required to update your version to 11 before the version 12 release.
