Select Area

Objective

Use the select Mesh (Brush) tool to select the area you want

Location

Main Menu ▶ 3D Garment▶ Select Mesh (Brush)

3D Window Toolbar ▶ Select Mesh (Brush)

Operation

1. Follow the path specified in Location.
   Set the desired intensity, size, and focal of the brush in the brush dialog.
   You can adjust the brush size using the [ ] shortcut on the keyboard.
2. Click on the desired part of the garment click and drag to select an area.
   When using the brush, you can see that the border is gradated according to the set intensity and focus.
   The area marked with dark green in the center is the area with 100% value, and the applied value gets smaller as it goes outward. The area becomes darker as you drag multiple times.
   
   
3. Press and hold hotkeys below to add/ delete the selection area.
   Shift Key: Toggle between the existing selection area.
   Shift+Ctrl key: The Selection area will be added unconditionally.
   Ctrl Key: The Selection area will be deleted unconditionally.
   
   
4. Right-click on the selection area ▶ Select Menu.
   The menu is also available in Select Mesh (Box) and Select Mesh (Lasso).

Subdivision 

Partial Freeze 

1. Right-click on the selection area ▶ Select Freeze Menu.
   The menu is also available in Select Mesh (Box) and Select Mesh (Lasso).
   
   
2. The mesh of the selected area is freezed.

Select
The created freeze area can be selected with the Select Mesh (Brush) tool and the Select/Move tool.

Delete
After selecting the freeze area, you can delete it by pressing the Delete key on your keyboard.

Freeze area right click select/delete menu
- Delete Freeze Region: Delete the selected freeze area.
- Delete All Freeze: Delete all freeze areas.
- Select All Freeze: Select all freeze areas.

3D Pattern right click select/delete menu
Right-click on the 3D pattern to use the Partial Freeze menus.
- Select All Freeze: Select all freeze areas.
- Delete All Freeze: Delete all freeze areas.

Move
The created freeze area can be selected and moved with the Select / Move tool.

Partial Solidify (Above ver. 11)

1. Right-click on the selection area ▶ Select Solidify Menu.
   The menu is also available in Mesh Select (Box) and Mesh Select (Lasso).
   
   
2. The mesh of the selected area is solidified.

Select
The created solidify area can be selected with the Select Mesh (Brush) tool and the Select/Move tool.

Delete
After selecting the solidify area, you can delete it by pressing the Delete key on your keyboard.

- Delete Solidify Region: Delete the selected solidify area.
- Delete All Solidify: Delete all solidify areas.
- Select All Solidify: Select all solidify areas.

3D Pattern right click select/delete menu
Right-click on the 3D pattern to use the Partial Solidify menus.
- Select All Solidify: Select all solidify areas.
- Delete All Solidify: Delete all solidify areas.
