Adjust button properties in the Property Editor.
Button Style Property Editor
Objective
Use these options to edit button styles, materials for buttons/threads, and polygon optimization.

Object Browser ▶ Select a button item in the Buttonhole Tab.
→ The properties are displayed in the Property Editor.

Information
Name
Enter a name for the Button.
Shape
Select the type of button from the drop-down icon.
Click the plus icon to register the Button or Thread as an OBJ file.
Click the CONNECT icon to open the CONNECT Store and download buttons.Thread Type
Select the thread type from Cross / Parallel / Square.
Specification
Width (mm)
Decide the width of the button in millimeters.
Link to Fastened Buttonhole
Toggle ON/OFF to enable or disable buttonhole fastening.
Thickness (mm)
Decide the thickness of the button in millimeters.
Weight (g)
Decide the thickness of the button in grams.
Material
Button / ThreadType
Set the appropriate Button / Thread Type.
Base Color
Color
Select the color of the base color.
Base Color Map
Base Color Map
Click the explore button and apply a texture image from the Library/Folder.
Recolor
Adjust the Transformation (Unified) by defining the Angle, Repeat U/V, and Position U/V.
Desaturate
Desaturate the entire Base Color Map to remove color and convert it into grayscale or black and white.
Switch
Color Switch: Easily and quickly switch the color of the texture to a new one without losing the accuracy of the chosen color.
※Note: For consistent results, the Base Color Map should contain 1 color. If the Base Color Map contains multiple colors, users may experience unexpected results.
Normal Map
Click the explore button and apply a texture image from Library/Folder, generated with the generate icon. A base color map needs to be applied before this will work.
Intensity
Adjust the intensity of the Normal map from -100 to 100.
Displacement Map
Click the explore button and apply a texture image from Library/Folder, generated with the generate icon. A base color map needs to be applied before this will work.
Amount
Adjust the maximum height of the displacement map. The white area of the displacement map shows the maximum height.
Shift
Adjust the distance between the displacement map and the garment surface
Clipping
Adjust to delete all geometries below the Clipping value.
Particle Distance
Adjust the Particle Distance of newly created meshes.
Keep Continuity
Extend the adjacent face to eliminate the boundary line.
※ Note: Only applicable to Welded OBJs.Transformation (Unified)
Apply transformation settings for Angle, Repeat U/V, and Position U/V.
Opacity
Opacity
Adjust the opacity level from 0 to 100.
Opacity Map
RGB Mode
The encoded map with the alpha value in the RGB channel.
Alpha Mode
The encoded map with the alpha value in the alpha channel.
Reflection
Roughness
Intensity
Edit fabric gloss by adjusting the Intensity of the Roughness
Map
Edit fabric gloss by adding and modifying the Roughness Map.
Map
Select the Browse button next to the Map option to add a Roughness Map to the selected Fabric style.
Map Intensity
Adjust the Map's Intensity.
The range of Roughness map intensity was enlarged in (ver. 2024.2)
Invert
Select to invert the gloss of the fabric. When this option is selected, the shiny part becomes dull and vice versa. To use the Specular Maps provided below version 6, check this option.
Reflection Intensity
The greater/lesser the Reflection Intensity value is, the more reflective/dull the material or fabric is.
Metalness
Adjust the metallic level. Higher value makes the surface more metallic.
Metalness Map
Partially express metallics using a grayscale image. The white parts of the map appear metallic.
Polygon Optimization
Count
Set the number of polygons.
Plane
This is applied in the form of a texture when the Plane is activated. Count cannot be set on Plane activation.
Button Property Editor
Objective
Use these options to edit button styles, including rotation, thread length, style of the button, and collision settings.

Operation
- Selecting a button with the Select/Move or Select/Move Button tool displays its properties in the Property Editor.
Property | Description |
Angle | Enter the desired value for the rotation angle of buttons. |
Thread Length (mm) | Enter the desired value for thread length in millimeters (mm). |
Style | Select a button style. |
Collision | Set ON/OFF for the collision option. → Set it OFF to fix its location to avoid collision between the buttons and the Patterns. |
2D Measurements |
View the position of buttons in 2D Pattern with its size measurement. Set check-boxes On for Left/Right/Up/Down as desired. → The 2D size measurements appear accordingly. |

Objective
Use these options to manage buttons, including deleting and renaming.

Operation
- Right-click a button in the location panel to rearrange the button list.
Menu | Description | |
Delete |
Deletes the selected Button style. ※Note: You can also delete them with the Delete button on the keyboard. A Button Style can only be deleted if there is no Button assigned to it. |

Delete All Unused Button | Removes unused Buttons from the Button list. | |
Rename | Rename the Button style. | |
Reset | Resets the properties of the Button style to the Default Button properties. |
